Every Child Deserves
a Home and a Future
In the heart of Odisha, India, we are raising children in a community of love — providing safety, education, and the living hope of the Gospel.

Our Ministry
A Community Built on Compassion
The Caleb India campus in Kesinga, Odisha is more than a home — it is a living community where children who have nowhere else to turn discover that they are seen, known, and deeply loved.
We are a government-licensed residential boarding school, which allows us to walk alongside families in the deepest corners of poverty. Whether a child has lost both parents or simply has a mother who cannot provide enough food and safety for her family, our doors are open. No exceptions.
Our vision is to grow this campus to care for 160 children, and to multiply this model to other locations across India as God provides.
Who We Serve
Two Kinds of Need,
One Open Door
Our government license allows us to operate as a residential boarding school, which opens the door to children in two distinct but equally urgent situations.
Children with a Living Mother
The majority of children in our care come from families crushed by extreme poverty. A mother, facing impossible circumstances, chooses to bring her child to Caleb India — not out of abandonment, but out of love. She visits often. We build a relationship with her. Many mothers have come to faith in Jesus through this connection, and the whole family is transformed.
Complete Orphans — No Family Remaining
Roughly one in four of our children have no living parent and no family to turn to — most often because a parent died from illness at a tragically young age. For these children, Caleb India is not just a school. It is their family. Our staff loves them as their own, and they grow up knowing they belong.
What We Provide
Whole-Life Care for Every Child
We believe every child deserves more than survival. They deserve to thrive — in body, mind, and spirit.
Quality Education
Licensed teachers provide a full academic curriculum in a properly equipped school on campus. Our goal is not just literacy — it is to awaken each child's potential.
Medical Care
Every child receives regular medical attention. For children coming from communities where healthcare is nearly inaccessible, this is often life-changing.
A Loving Home
Children live in a structured, nurturing community where they are known by name, not by number. They experience stability, warmth, and belonging.
Spiritual Formation
The Gospel is the heartbeat of everything we do. Children learn to pray, hear Bible stories, and encounter the living God.
Nourishment & Dignity
Three nutritious meals a day, clean water, clothing, and a safe place to rest — basics many of our children had never consistently known.
Pathways to the Future
As children grow older, we provide opportunities for further education and job training. We are raising the next generation of leaders.
"She wasn't abandoning her child — she was making the bravest sacrifice a mother can make. And because she trusted us, we got to watch her whole family come to know Jesus."From the Caleb India team
Our Staff
Women Restored,
Now Restoring Others
Many of the women who serve at Caleb India came to us broken — widowed, abandoned, or destitute. Here they found safety, employment, community, and faith. They now pour that same grace into the children every single day.

Meet Nili
Nili grew up in poverty in a small village in Odisha's Balangir District. Married at 17, she had four daughters — until tuberculosis took her husband and left her alone with no income. In heartbreak, she gave her newborn up for adoption, unable to provide. She worked as a maid, barely surviving.
Then a relative told her about Caleb India, and she said yes.
Today, Nili is the head cook on campus, preparing warm, nourishing meals with love and grace for every child and staff member. Her oldest daughter is studying Class 12 at a nearby college, dreaming of becoming a physician. Her two younger girls are in school.
In November 2023, Nili was baptized by Pastor Wayne Lanier. Her life is a testimony that God does not waste our pain — he redeems it.
Women Who Were Left Behind
When a woman in India comes to faith in Jesus, she can lose everything. Husbands leave. Family disowns. Community rejects. These women arrive at Caleb India with children of their own and nowhere to go.
We give them a place to live, meaningful work, food, medical care, and a community of faith. Their children are educated and cared for alongside the children in our program.
They are not charity cases. They are the backbone of this ministry.

A Child's Story
Meet Rachit
"He dreams of becoming a pastor. He is kind-hearted, sincere, and artistic — a boy whose life is being transformed by the hope of the Gospel."
Rachit was born in a jungle village in Odisha's Kandhamal district. His father suffered a serious head injury. His mother traveled far south for labor work. He lived with an uncle in a thatched hut, with little security and an uncertain future.
When his mother heard about Caleb India, she came with hope — asking if her two sons could have a better life. Today, Rachit is studying in Class 4. His younger brother is in Class 1.
For the first time in their lives, they have consistent meals, education, love, and the living Word of God. Rachit has learned to pray. He loves Bible stories. He draws, sings, dances, plays cricket, and dreams of one day proclaiming the Good News he has received.
Our Vision
Growing to Reach
160 Children
The Kesinga campus has a master plan. We are building toward the capacity to house, educate, and love 160 children at a single location — and we are already dreaming of what comes next.
- 01
Expand the Campus
Facility growth to accommodate more children, more classrooms, and better living quarters for staff families.
- 02
Deepen Biblical Training
In partnership with AWKNG, we are bringing a full Bible training center to Kesinga — equipping our staff, local pastors, and older children with deep theological roots.
- 03
Pathways to Higher Education
Connecting graduates with scholarships, vocational training, and university opportunities so that the cycle of poverty ends with this generation.
- 04
Replicate to New Locations
The need in India is immense. As the Kesinga model matures, we plan to carry it to new locations and communities across the country.

Will You Help Us
Rewrite Their Story?
A child who arrives with nothing can leave with an education, a faith, and a future. That transformation is made possible by people like you. Every gift — of any size — goes directly to the children and families at Caleb India.
Global Context
This Is What Church Mobilization
Looks Like at Global Scale
Caleb India is run by a team of indigenous leaders. The women who serve as staff came to us broken — widowed, abandoned, destitute. They found safety, employment, community, and faith. Now they pour that same grace into every child on campus. This is the Mephibosheth story lived out: God heard the cry of the vulnerable, raised up people with specific roles, and set a place at the table.
Your support doesn't just feed a child. It sustains a community of redemption.
